#comingtoPrague: Prague's best districts!

You are looking for an accommodation and you have no idea where to look at? You want to have a better understanding of the city you are moving in? Get a first look? Here comes the list of the coolest districts to live in and visit in Prague!

Malá Strana (Prague 1)

Lesser Town is in the heart of the city. On the left side of the river, you will enjoy a view of Prague's most beautiful buildings . Located between the Charles Bridge  and the  Buckles Castle , the Lesser Towns are busy with tourists from all over the world. For expats, Mala Strana offers a vibrant lifestyle with many restaurants, museums, and even a few embassies. Public transports are very good, with many trams and the green metro line.

New / Old Town (Prague 1-2)

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to the city center . It is home to the famous Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square, as well as Busy metro station and Wenceslas Square.

You will go to New Town on a regular basis, because it hosts the most attractive places in the city , and is well-connected; both the green and yellow lines serve New Town.

View on Old Town Square - mindblowing!

Even though a little expensive, New Town is the best place to go out! (if you are brave enough to make tourists)

Vinhorady (Prague 2-3)

Vinhorady is this residential neighborhood that offers a quiet lifestyle. It is a true hidden jewel of Prague , hosting countless parks, coffee places and churches. Its streets are full of trees and not crowded with tourists (although the city center is reachable within five minutes thanks to the abundant metro and tram lines such as green and red lines as well as tramway 22).

You will also find in Vinohrady the best brewery and wine cellar of the city . It's an amazing place to live in!

Zizkov (Prague 3)

One step after Vinhorady and Zizkov, and the vibrant district where beer flows freely . Did you know Žižkov is the district in Europe hiding the highest number of bars and clubs per square meter? We guarantee you that's true! This crazy district is also home to the Zizkov Tower, named one of the most ugliest monuments in the world. However, this district is more of a district, and the connection is more complicated.

One thing is sure: you can not get bored in Žižkov!

Karlin (Prague 8)

Just like Vinhorady, Karlin is more of a residential district with beautiful quiet streets. But do not get us wrong: it's also an amazing place to go out , especially for concerts! Its Forum Karlin has the best venues in town!

Holešovice/Letna (Prague 7)

Have you ever heard that Holešovice is the hipster district of Prague ? You were not told wrong! But do not take our word for it:

Smichov / Andel (Prague 5)

The Andel  is more of a professional district with many companies, but also hosts a huge shopping center, and one of Prague's most amazing (and hidden) coffee place: Kavarna looking for a name . If you have a walk around, you will enjoy the small hills and parks, away from the busy lifestyle of the city center. There is even a secret funicular, bringing you to the top of a hill!

Andel  is an ideal place to stay, since it is very well connected to all parts of the city (the yellow line passes through, and many trams can reach the city center within ten minutes).

Every district has its pros and cons. But no matter where you will stay, Prague transportations have a reputation for being fast, all day and night long and really affordable!

So make sure you enjoy your district, and the city, at 150%!
