Airport

Prague Václav Havel Airport formerly Prague Ruzyně International Airport , serves Prague, Czech Republic. Located 10 kilometres west of the city center.

Get out (by public transport):
Buses of Prague Public Transit stop at both terminals every 10 minutes a 90 min ticket can be bought for CZK 32 at the arrival hall. If you don't have Czech crowns we recommend to exchange the maximum of 5 Euros at one of the Airport Exchange offices houses (don't change more than that as rate is not good!). Also you can buy tickets  from automat with your credit card.

RECOMMENDED: Tickets for buses may be purchased by SMS. Send a text message "DPT32" to 90206 or buy ticket by credit card. Here you can check a connection for public transport http://spojeni.dpp.cz

Pick bus # 119 – terminates in 17 minutes at Nádraží Veleslavín station. Transfer to Metro green line A to get to the centre. The ticket is valid on the Metro too. Pick bus # 100 to get to metro B (yellow line) station Zličín.

The second option is to take the Czech railways Express bus (AE) that runs from the airport to the main railway station, stopping on the way at Prague Main Railway station and Masarykovo railway station. The tickets cost 60 crowns for the whole journey and include a luggage. You MUST buy the ticket in advance with the bus driver. The buses run each half an hour from 5.45 a.m. til 9.15 p.m. Again, remember to buy ticket with bus driver as Prague transport tickets are not valid on this bus.

Bus #510 – offers a night service every 30 minutes. Goes to the south of the city, but passes near the centre by "Jiráskovo náměstí" or "I.P.Pavlova" (5 minutes from Wenceslas Square) the trip from airport to I.P. Pavlova at night takes 40 minutes. From there you may need to take a taxi to your final destination.

Taxi: Check the taxi tab bellow with useful information about taxis in Prague. Be aware that the listed taxis there should not be more expensive than 350-550 CZK to city center/central hostels/hotels and student dormitories. Try to use Uber, Taxify or Liftago mobile taxi apps.

Arriving by group? Then we strongly recommend that you share a private taxi/mini van that can be picked up at any of the arrivals of Prague airport.
